ORGANIZATION: Kansas City Public Library

Tech Coaches are critical to the Library's ability to provide digital literacy training and support for adult patrons, especially as the pandemic has revealed how much we rely on technology and how much people can struggle without digital knowledge and access. Be a part of KCPL’s solution and support patrons across the KC metro area.

As a Tech Coach with the Kansas City Public Library, you will help patrons understand their devices and how to use them with confidence. Provide guidance and direct assistance with basic computer and internet skills, from introductory topics like creating and editing documents to more advanced topics, like updating their LinkedIn profile or connecting their devices to Bluetooth.Support our patrons on their path towards digital literacy and share skills and tips to help them confidently navigate their devices!

During these coronavirus times, you will host Zoom drop-in sessions to provide digital support to patrons by answering a wide range of questions about technology and devices.

Training and support are provided available on an ongoing basis. You set your own schedule, and multiple times and days available.
