We need kind-hearted volunteers to help clients shop items in the pantry (picture a small grocery store). Volunteers will place selected items in bags and help shop clients with dignity and respect. This is a direct service opporunity and you must pass background check to begin.
The JFS Food Pantry, located off Montfort and Arapaho in Addison, serves about 150 families each week in the pantry, with clients from 20 different Dallas zip codes and a variety of demographics.

Description
JFS is a United Way service provider, serving just over 11,000 people a year. We help people regain self sufficiency through services including, but not limited to: Career and Employment, Family Violence Intervention, Financial Coaching, Mental Health counseling for all ages, services for Elderly or disabled, Meals on Wheels, Special Needs, Cancer Survivors, Veterans, and Emergency assistance in our on-site Food Pantry.
