Are you looking for an opportunity to help children and families? Look no more! ALIVE is in need of volunteers to assist with childcare. ALIVE is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and sincere individuals. Our needs vary greatly. We are seeking individuals that be flexible.
Sometimes we have needs during the day for an hour or two at a time when a client has an appointment and needs childcare. Other times we may have an evening class scheduled for a few weeks and have a small to medium-sized group of children that will need to be cared for. Occasionally childcare is provided but no clients take advantage of this, volunteers must be okay with showing up to childcare hours consistently without knowing whether not children will be there.
If you are interested in providing childcare and have availability mid-day or evenings please let us know! Commitments are for 6 months at a time. A background check and training will need to be completed prior to working with the children. Confidentiality is also observed by onsite volunteers.
