We are looking for a volunteer interested in escorting residents from the ground floor of Heaton Woods to and from the hair salon located at the basement level. We have a very nice hair salon that many residents visit each week. Most of them need some assistance getting to and from the salon by way of elevator.
Our salon is open from 9-3 every Wednesday, so this is the time we're looking for volunteers to be there. Ideally, this is someone interested in getting to know our residents, who would be happy to spend time visiting with them or helping with an activity during the times that the salon is full and no one needs to be escorted down/up. Volunteers will be offered lunch at the residence each week.
