Art House, Inc.’s mission is to inspire exploration and expression through the visual arts. We achieve this by making art accessible to the Greater Cleveland community through instruction, encouragement, and facilities. We seek to enrich the lives of those who live in our community, promote learning through the arts, and strengthen the careers of local artists by providing high quality, free, and low-cost visual and creative arts programs for people of all ages and skill levels.

Description

Art House, Inc. (AH) is a nonprofit arts center located in historic Brooklyn Centre, between the Ohio City and Old Brooklyn neighborhoods of Cleveland, Ohio. The organization was founded in 1999 by local artists and residents dedicated to the belief that the arts enrich lives and help create better communities. Our 3,000 square foot studio facility is housed in a 1948 domed Quonset building.

We offer a wide range of programming, including:

- Studio art classes and workshops for adults and kids including ceramics,
printmaking, mixed-media, and more.

- Ten pottery wheels and two large kilns onsite

- Professional development opportunities for art educators and artists

- StudioGo: fee-based outreach arts classes, workshops and festival activities for
schools, businesses, and organizations from homeschool groups to senior
centers to corporate art and teambuilding retreats.

- Customized private events for youth and adult birthday parties, badge building
workshops for Scouts, bachelorette parties and girls night out etc.

- Urban Bright: Arts-in-Education programming for schools in Cleveland Metropolitan
School District and select schools in the Greater Cleveland community.

- FREE Family open studio and low cost Family Clay Day workshops.
