Salvation Army Christmas

Location: The Toys Shop/ Salvation Army Holiday Distribution Center is located at the Cherryland Center between Kmart and Busy Bodies Bounce Town.

This is a truly heart warming and humbling experience and fun way to make Christmas Bright! High level of confidentiality needed

Assist parents receiving Holiday Assistance to shop for Christmas gifts for their children at the Toy Shop and distribute Teen Angel gifts.

Volunteers are paired with families and given information on children's ages and number of items that can be selected from in a variety of categories (S,M,L toys, books, clothing, etc.). The volunteer is responsible for helping direct parents and fill wishes.

Assist with distribution of Christmas Meal Baskets

Assist with restocking gift/toy areas and organization

Assist families in loading their vehicles and ensuring carts are immediately returned to the Toy Shop

Moderate lifting.
Minimum 2hr shift
