Cleantech Open Rocky Mountain Region Sustainability Chair

We need a passionate and dedicated leader who can ensure the Cleantech Open is a sustainable entity. The Rocky Mountain Region covers five states (AZ, CO, UT, NM, WY) and several major metro areas - Phoenix, Denver-Boulder, Salt Lake City, and Cheyenne. This role ensures that the Rocky Mountain Region tackles every component of its programming to ensure sustainability from the ground up. This is a volunteer position.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience building a sustainable entity, both inside the office and through external programs
  • Understanding of best sustainability practices for companies, to best develop prize judging criteria
  • Creative and inquisitive nature and passion to learn and apply something new every day
  • Ability to commit ~10 hours per week

What you’ll give:

In addition to helping run our Rocky Mountain Region sustainability program, you’ll:

  • Work with the Rocky Mountain Region Training chair to develop sustainability content to be incorporated into the Rocky Mountain Region Accelerator
  • Work with the Rocky Mountain Region Judging Chair to ensure the judges are aligned with sustainability practices and can select the best company to receive the Sustainability prize

The Cleantech Open provides the platform for that kind of interaction.
