Ethan Allen Residence is looking for volunteers interested in spending one-on-one time some of our residents. Make a cup of tea, pull up a chair, and listen to the truly remarkable stories that our folks have to tell. Go for a nice stroll in the neighborhood with a new friend. Read to someone and make their day! Use our tablets and iPods to listen to beloved music. Whatever your interests are, there is an elder at Ethan Allen Residence who would love to talk to you about it and a staff eager to help you use your skills and passion to improve resident quality of life.
Volunteers can visit once a week, once every two weeks, once a month, or just once! It's completely up to you and your schedule. Please get in touch if you have any questions. Thank You!

Description
At Ethan Allen Residence, we offer compassionate, innovative programming with a focus on wellbeing and ecological responsibility. We coordinate Naturopathic medicine with primary care physicians/specialists, and take a locally-sourced and organic approach to cooking. We believe that when elders receive food, care, and engagement that nourishes them, they are able to flourish.
