ORGANIZATION: The Cabbage Patch Settlement House

We are seeking applicants who are knowledgeable or ( for the right person ) willing to learn , Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon games . Applicants must have basic board game skills / knowledge and a genuine rtmanship in good Sportsmanship's and with an emphasis in creative math and reading programs such as this .

Teaching children and youth new skills and improving their abilities is essential to the mission of The Cabbage Patch. The Patch also places strong emphasis on the development of positive relationships through discussion and role modeling. Long-term volunteer roles typically require 4 hours per week for up to 16 weeks, allowing the volunteer to interact regularly with members and develop these positive relationships. There is a need for long-term volunteers in all of our program and service areas.

The Cabbage Patch Settlement House is a nonprofit, Christian organization that exists to empower families and children to be self-sufficient by helping them maximize their spiritual, social, emotional, physical, moral, economic and educational potential. In 2010, "The Patch" celebrated its 100th year of profoundly changing lives.

Description

We Change Lives We foster self-esteem and responsibility through purpose-driven programs . Relationships are built, and the lives of over 1,250 at-risk children and their families are profoundly changed each year.
