The Burleson Public Library is a participant in the Veteran's History Project where we honor veterans by preserving their stories of their service to our country. We solicit veterans who are willing to be interviewed about their service while being video taped. Three DVD's are made of the interview. One is given to the veteran, one is catalogued in the Library, one is sent to the Library of Congress for preservation, a digital copy is uploaded to the Operation Remember You Tube Channel and also to the Operation Remember Kiosk for viewing at Veterans Memorial Plaza in Burleson, TX.

We are seeking a volunteer to conduct these interviews who has a military background and/or extensive knowledge of military service. We are also seeking a volunteer to operate the video equipment for the interviews. The Burleson Public Library provides the video equipment and the conference room at the Library where the interviews take place.
