Are you interested in working with people from diverse backgrounds? Project SHINE, part of Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning, teaches evening ESL courses for refugees wanting to learn English. You may help students one-on-one, facilitate small groups, or potentially help teach sections of class - all supported by the lead teacher. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in education or in any field where they will be working with a diverse population. Choose one or more days that you are available to come. If you are interested in growing your skills in a diverse environment, please contact us!

Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning’s mission is to empower people and organizations to succeed across languages and cultures. Spring Institute was founded in 1979 to provide intensive English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) training for international students. Over 36 years, Spring Institute has grown substantially and currently provides training and direct services to refugees, immigrants and low-income families, through adult education, intercultural training, professional interpretation in over 100 languages, and support for foreign-trained health professionals to become recertified and join the healthcare workforce in our region.
