The Vice President is also the face of the PFLAG Winston-Salem chapter. The Vice President supports the President in community relations, media campaigns, speaking engagements, leading chapter meetings or planning committees, strategic planning to grow the chapter, finding resources to support chapter growth, events, and recruitment of board members and the like.
The Vice President's role is to take over the Presidency of the chapter when the President's term is complete.
The Vice President serves as a backup to the President when the President is unavailable to attend an event, respond to an inquiry, or do any of the Presidential duties.

PFLAG Winston-Salem is the local Winston-Salem, NC chapter of the National PFLAG organization. PFLAG Winston-Salem offers support services to the LGBTQ+ community and their families and friends in various ways, including a monthly support group, monthly programs, educational workshops, social events. PFLAG Winston-Salem is very active and is governed by a board of directors. Our website is full of useful resource information and information on upcoming events and programs.
