Do you enjoy greeting people with a smile? We are looking for a friendly face comfortable with customer service who can serve as our a check-in volunteer for our Senior Meal Program. Every Monday and Wednesday we serve a nutritious and low-cost meal to seniors and other folks in our community. We need someone who can help with greeting people, checking people in, receiving donations, and filling out some paperwork.
Must be comfortable interacting with a variety of people from a variety of backgrounds. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Time: Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 11-1:30.

Mission Statement
The mission of Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) is to increase food security for underserved populations in north King County through nutritious meals, educational programs, and advocacy.
Description
HIP’s programs bring nutrition education to local families and vital meals to neighbors in need through our Summer Meals for Kids, Afterschool Snack, Shelter Meals, and Senior Meals programs. Our Healthy HIP Packs program also provides vital weekend food support to children at risk of hunger when they are out of school. HIP is actively engaged with many local, statewide, and national coalitions of food justice organizations to advocate for policy level changes to address hunger.
