Volunteers are needed in Cincinnati (Deer Park, Amber Park, Kenwood, Finneytown) to visit with residents facing end of life. They are looking for someone to sit with them an hour a week or so to just talk with them, hold their hand, take them outside in wheelchair (weather permitting), paint their nails, do crafts with them or simply read a story or newspaper to them. You can bring such joy to someoen facing end of life.
Brookdale Senior Living does require background checks, fingerprinting and drug screen. We pay for everything and I will make it as easy as possible for you! Please do not let this deter you from volunteering.
