Interested in making a difference in the lives of people living with epilepsy? Join our team as a volunteer Office Assistant!
Summary: The Office Assistant will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of Epilepsy Foundation New England’s mission of leading the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. ***At this time our greatest need is assistance with data entry.***
Key Responsibilities:
Data entry
Filing
Stuffing packets for events
Other duties as assigned
Length of Appointment: The Office Assistant is assigned to one day per week for a period of at least six months.
Time Commitment: One day per week for 2-4 hours hours, for a minimum of six months. Shift must be between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
Qualifications:
Dependable and punctual
Detail-oriented
Good problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of computers, including data entry, Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowlege of Salesforce a plus, but not required!
Support: Training for this position will be provided. In addition, the Volunteer Coordinator will be available for questions and assistance.
Dress Code: Business Casual
