Do you love to spread the gift of your voice??

We are looking for volunteers to visit our patients, and bring them the gift of song. Singing in their room at their home or long term nursing facility really brings a special experience to them.

Our patients are always mobile enough to enjoy the music that is played in the common rooms of a nursing facility. And often times, to even go to the window to hear the carolers in their front yard. Visiting a patient just to sing to them is truly a rewarding experience for all of those involved.

Small groups are encouraged to join as well.

If you are interested, please contact Crystal Hall today!

Mission Statement

At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, we believe hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of care. Our goal is to bring dignity and comfort home by offering compassionate care to patients and their families during the final stages of life.

Description

Enhabit is looking for a Hospice Volunteer to provide companionship to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.

A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
