The City Attorney of Plano is seeking law students for unpaid/volunteer internships for the 2016 Spring semester. Candidates should be organized and dependable, with strong skills in research, analysis, and writing. Responsibilities may include assisting the City Attorney’s Office in the areas of criminal prosecution, transactional work, and civil litigation. Opportunities may include drafting and reviewing documents, researching legal issues, and preparing for and attending trainings, meetings, mediations, hearings, and trials.
Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week for the FULL SEMESTER and have completed at least one year of law school by the start date for the internship. Some flexibility in schedule will be considered.
