Detroit Public Television’s Winter Pledge Drive runs from Monday, November 28 through Sunday, December 18 at the DPTV Studios & Riley Broadcast Center in Wixom.
We need 10-15 volunteers for each shift to help answer pledge phones.
Weekday shifts (Monday-Friday): 6 PM to 11 PM
Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday): 1 PM to 6 PM -OR- 6 PM to 11 PM
If you've never volunteered in the studio before, please come join us for an afternoon or evening where you can enjoy your favorite PBS programs and meet new, like-minded people. Bring a group of friends! Sign-up with several co-workers! Plan a family outing! We can accommodate groups as well as individuals. It's easy, fun and we'll train you!

WTVS Detroit Public Television is the viewer-supported PBS member station serving the nation's 11th largest television market
We operate our television services from the Riley Broadcast Center in Wixom, Michigan, named for the lead donors to our Capital Campaign, George and Dolores Riley. We operate a radio station, WRCJ 90.9 FM, in partnership with the Detroit Public Schools at the Detroit School of Arts; and a Midtown TV studio in Detroit in partnership with Wayne State University. Our High Definition production truck can go anywhere.
