Our Caris volunteers provide a wide range of benefits to patients and their families who are enrolled in hospice services. A volunteer role can mean providing emotional support to a family member who needs someone to listen or by helping honor the patients three most important things. Examples of the Three Most Important Things that we honor can include anything from, a favorite chocolate, to hearing a favorite book read to them or a favorite piece of music played on a stereo, or talking about a time in their lives that meant a lot to them. These are some ways our volunteers make a difference and provide compassionate care to our Caris patients. Please contact volunteer coordinator Clare Dudenhoeffer if you are interested in learning more about this opportunity.
