The Regional Task Force on the Homeless is at the forefront of oure region's efforts to ensure we have sustainable and effective solutions for addressing homelessness... and we need your help!
Volunteers will be assigned to a team to help count and interview homeless persons to produce an estimate of the total number of individuals living unsheltered in San Diego County.
Benefits: Volunteers are integral in the WeAllCount campaign - this project helps the San Diego region end homelessness by enhancing our understanding and knowledge of this issue, which helps our region develop sustainable solutions. You will join with over 1,600 other volunteers in a hands-on experience to directly learn about homelessness and its impact in our communities. Volunteers will have the opportunity to foster connections with other compassionate San Diegans and will be invited to RTFH’s annual volunteer appreciation event.
Time Commitment: Shifts vary depending on your assignment, but are typically 3 to 4 hours. WeAllCount is on Friday, Jan 27th, 2017 from 4:00am-7:00am. Interviews are scheduled from Jan 27th to Feb 1st at various times.
Location: Site locations vary throughout San Diego County depending on your interest and availability.
