The Guest Escort Volunteer plays an essential role in ensuring the safety of all guests to Planned Parenthood’s health center/headquarters - patients, staff, volunteers, vendors and other visitors. In this position, the volunteer is responsible for the following tasks: monitors, tracks and reports picketer activity; ensures protesters are not blocking patient/car entry; acts as welcoming presence for guests; directs visitors to destination quickly and efficiently; and is ready to respond with the offer of an escort should a patient arrive on foot. Volunteer will assist Security staff in ensuring the safety of all guests - patients, staff, volunteers, vendors, and other visitors - to Planned Parenthood’s flagship health care center and administrative headquarters.
