GED Classroom Assistant

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Platte Valley Literacy Association

A GED Classroom Assistant helps both the GED instructor and students by answering individual student questions and organizing paperwork and books. The class is informal, and students come at a time that works best for them. Each studies at his or her own pace using books or the official GED computer software that focuses on math, science, reading, writing, and social studies. GED classes are held on Monday - Thursday evenings from 6-8 pm and Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10 am - Noon. We are looking for volunteers who could attend one or more class session per week and be flexible. The classroom assistant would be busy some days and not others, depending on the number of students in attendance and their needs
