ORGANIZATION: Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley

  • 7 people are interested

Make-A-Wish is a wish granting organization that grants wishes to children between the ages of 2.5 and 18 with life threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope, strength and joy.

Currently we are looking for Wish Granters. It is our mission to involve people who are passionate about our cause and who will strive to better themselves and those they are interacting with.

Wish Granters play and exciting and fulfilling role in the wish granting process. When a child is approved for a wish, the Wish Granters will go out, typically to the family’s home, to meet with the wish child and their family. At the initial visit Wish Granters help determine the child’s one true wish.

Typically the wish is planned and granted over a 6 to 9 month period per child. When it is time for the wish to come true the Wish Granters get to help plan a wish reveal party! The party is a celebration of the wish child and their wish.
