Learn how to test and assemble computer hardware and gain valuable leadership experience along the way! As a BETA intern, you’ll be training other volunteers how to identify computer hardware, remove components for testing, and decide whether a system should be recycled or refurbished. You’ll also learn how to triage optical drives, power supplies, hard drives, and servers. In addition to this, you get valuable teaching experience by leading the Hardware ID class for new BETA volunteers.
After three months, you’ll have the opportunity to graduate into the Hardware Testing Internship.
