Our project is a long-running one at Global Giving, with a huge requirement for schools infrastructure. We realize that donations of general public is one of the key contributions that could be of great help for our project. Please take a look at our Global Giving project page at the link provided.
I am looking for individuals who are passionate in writing about the cause of education for underprivileged children, and can ask people to donate to our project at the Global Giving project page. Our project has several facets like good infrastructure, transportation, noon meal, kitchen, learning material, digital class rooms, etc., which will be the highlights to quote while asking people to donate.
We need help specifically before and during the Global Giving campaigns that happen throughout the year. Matching, voting, etc will happen, so the exact nature of the ask will depend on the specific campaign.
Written blogs will be verified for factual correctness and the strength of appeal. If it is found that the blog satisfies us, you will be asked to go ahead with publishing it among your audience.
Skills Required:
1. Exceptional written storytelling skills
2. An ability to grab the attention of the reader and inspiring them
to sympathize with the cause and donate for it.
3. Should have a huge following in social media who sympathize with
educating under-privileged children.
4. Be able to come-up with a blog in a week's time.
5. Excellent command over English language, adept in vocabulary.
Application Instructions:
Please send your best selection of fundraising blogs links to my email address venkat.ramakrishnan@ishavidhya.org. I will get back to you if you are selected.

Mission Statement
Build an efficient, open, thriving marketplace that connects people who have community and world-changing ideas with people who can support them.
Description
GlobalGiving was founded by two former World Bank executives who decided to use the Internet to create a highly efficient marketplace. The GlobalGiving platform enables more funding to reach projects throughout the globe, and, at the same time, provides a more transparent, engaging way for donors to give.
Because we enable donors to give directly to projects, they know exactly where their money is going. Donors can see progress updates on most projects as funding is received and goals are met.
Donations made through GlobalGiving are higher impact because:
- Money is going directly to a well-defined project versus supporting general operating expenses
- Projects on globalgiving.com have exposure to thousands of donors, enabling us to aggregate multiple sources of funding for each project
- Many projects on globalgiving.com are located in the developing world where a little money goes a long way
