Volunteers are needed at the Upscale Resale Thrift Shop in Rockville, MD. Volunteers work alongside our employees, sorting and pricing donations, displaying merchandise and keeping the store tidy. There are also admininistrative volunteer opportunities.
For the last twenty years, the Upscale Resale Thrift Shop has provided a warm and welcoming environment for adults suffering from mental illness. Many on the staff are in recovery, and it is the joy of our work to pull out the best of each employee, and to build a cohesive team and a thriving business. The funds raised through the sale of donated items to the store help support adults who are living with mental illness. The store is open Monday-Thursday from 10am-6pm, Friday-Saturday from 10am-7pm, and Sundays from 12noon-5pm.1 More opportunity with Sheppard Pratt
