Description

SuperSchade's SuperCamp is an 8 week program focued on assisting transitional aged individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop a variety of life skills required for a successful transition into adult life. Through the use of experiential opportunities in the community and group instruction/activities, we will work towards skill development specific to each person in the following areas:

  • Independent Living Skills
  • Employment/Post-Secondary Preparation
  • Social Interaction with Typical Peers and Professional Relationships
Each week participants will have opportunities to get out and access a variety of places throughout the community, and explore new skill areas such as accessing public transportation, grocery shopping, cooking skills, interviewing skills, etc. We hope to make this a fun and enjoyable opportunity for everyone, while helping identify goals and aspirations for each participant's future.
