ORGANIZATION: Sierra Club Maine

  • 4 people are interested

We need a coordinator to organize and participate in obtaining films & creating events for films related to the environment and issues that Sierra Club Maine is supporting. These could include national and local issues, those related to climate disruption, land/wilderness protection, etc.

Currently we have several organized films series from Bar Harbor to Dover Fox-Croft to Kennebunk. The Kennebunk Fall and Spring series has been in coordination with the UU Church and has been ongoing in the Spring and Fall for eleven years and has a large following.

This volunteer effort includes

  • selecting relevant films
  • communicating with the local leader/venue manager for scheduling
  • coordinating with Chapter office for PR and member communications

We're open to bringing in multiple volunteers, as needed.
