Christmas Distribution 2019

ORGANIZATION: Santa Claus Incorporated of Greater San Bernardino

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 99 people are interested

December 10-18th (excluding Sunday Dec. 15th) we will be distributing Christmas to needy families throughout greater San Bernardino.

What will you do?

You will take one parent at a time through the warehouse to shop (at no charge) where they will pick an outfit, a book, and a toy package for each child 0-12 years old. Each parent has already been pre-screened and will come to the warehouse at their scheduled appointment time. This part of the job is so rewarding and you will feel so happy to be able to help all the families that you will be assisting. We have 80-90 families scheduled per hour, so we need all of the volunteers we can get. The youngest volunteer we will take is a Junior in High School.

You can always volunteer just a few hours or the whole day and make a deep impact on the community.

Mission Statement

The mission of Santa Claus, Inc. is to provide critical assistance to children in the Inland Empire by supporting and strengthening the family unit through our community based programs.

Description

Santa Claus Incorporated is not just a Christmas giveaway program. Having served over 100,000 children in 2015, one of our main areas of focus is on year round services. Over 750,000 children have been served since the inception of Santa Claus, Inc. in 1952. New clothing, shoes, coats, books, toys, blankets, and infant items are provided through our many thriving programs. Santa Claus, Inc. works primarily in the Colton, Rialto, Redlands, Highland, and San Bernardino school districts; however, much support was provided in the high desert in 2015.
