Vision House is a Christian social service agency based near Seattle, Washington. Since 1990, Vision House has provided housing, support services and child care for homeless families with children.
As with any non-profit agency, we have a lot of work to be done, and not always enough hands to help us accomplish that work! In order to help lighten the load of our staff, we are seeking an office assistant with computer and database skills to come in to our office weekly, for a shift of several hours.
Vision House is a Christian organization. We ask that, even if you do not share our beliefs, you respect them.
All volunteers must fill out an application and attend an informal interview/orientation with the volunteer coordinator. The minimum age for this opportunity is 18 years and older.

Description
VH is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit Christian agency that provides confidential temporary housing for homeless families and their children, and separately for homeless single men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. The primary goal of VH is to provide residents with a stable, safe living environment. VH provides case management to enable residents to become self-sufficient by accessing community resources and by pursuing further education, training, or employment opportunities.
