We are expecting to raise receive about 5000 cans for our Holiday Can Drive, as well as other donations, and we need generous folks like yourself to come and help us sort them all! We build the cans into the shape of christmas trees and decorate them for the holidays, and so we need you to take them down, write their expiration date on them, and put them in our storage areas organized by expiration date. This will probably be a multi-day effort so multiple groups are welcome over the course of 2 or 3 days.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3), supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.
In 1998 the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House opened its doors providing a 'home away from home' for families who have children age 0-18 being treated in one of the five Sacramento-area hospitals; UC Davis Medical Center, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Mercy, Kaiser, and Sutter Medical Center. Since then, the 39-bedroom facility has provided affordable, temporary housing for approximately 20,000 families who have traveled from all across the United States as well as countries around the world in order to provide their child with the best medical treatment available.
