Funding from this event allows us to continue our crime prevention efforts and offer educational, athletic, and artistic programming to thousands of under-served Albany youth each year. Volunteers are essential to our mission, and we are always excited to involve community members in our work.
Holiday Lights in the Park not only raises awareness and funds for a great cause- it’s a holiday tradition in the Capital Region. Participating is a great opportunity to make connections with other community members, get in the holiday spirit, and make a difference.
This year, Holiday Lights is taking place November 18, 2016- January 3, 2017. During this time, we are looking for volunteers:
Sunday-Thursday: 5:30-9:00pm (6-10 volunteers)
Friday and Saturday: 5:30-10:00pm (9-12 volunteers)
Volunteers take photos, greet guests, dress up as a character, or help with traffic control.
Volunteers meet at the Lake House at 5:30 to go over their task for the evening.
You may sign up to volunteer by contacting Albany PAL by phone (518) 435-0392, email email@example.com, or online at albanypal.org
