Interested in helping others achieve their financial goals and dreams?

Be a real-life hero for an individual or family looking to achieve their financial goals!

United Way of Tarrant County presents a unique opportunity to volunteer as a financial coach. Coaches will work alongside clients to improve their understanding of budgeting, saving, debt reduction, how to build good credit, banking, and consumer protection. Coaches develop a unique partnership with clients to provide the support, encouragement, and motivation clients need to achieve their financial dreams!

What is Financial Coaching?

Coaching is the way of the future! Rather than simply educating or giving advice, coaches will work with clients to set meaningful goals, develop action steps, provide accountability, and serve as a resource for client questions. Coaches help clients see and believe in their own potential.

Volunteer financial coaches work 1-on-1 with clients to improve their financial knowledge and confidence. Help someone build a stronger financial future!

Bilingual coaches are needed!
No financial expertise required!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide leadership and harness resources to solve Tarrant County’s toughest social challenges.

Description

For more than 100 years United Way of Tarrant County has worked to improve the lives of those in the communities we serve. As a nonprofit leader, we unite companies, organizations, schools, religious institutions and city/state and local governments to address the most crucial causes to build a stronger Tarrant County. As we enter our second century, we are focused on:

  • Community Response - providing the basics for daily needs, disaster relief and veterans.
  • Community Health - ensuring a community where everyone can be safe and healthy, with a particular focus on underserved neighborhoods, women, children, older adults and those with disabilities
