Donations allowed for an awesome outing with the families and mentors. This provided a safe, fun and an excellent opportunity for bonding.

naomi is Long-term Transitional Housing Shelter, located in Spokane Valley, that serves Homeless Women and Their Children.

We have recently purchased a naomi Van and are seeking Transportation Volunteers to help Moms get to and from important meetings, appointments and other essential destinations. A majority of our Moms rely on the Bus System but sometimes appointments overlap and Public Transportation can often eat up a lot of precious time.

We are looking for volunteers who are above the age of 18 and have a good driving record and valid drivers license. Volunteers will be responsible for picking up the Van from naomi, driving Families to pre-routed destinations, recording trip history in a log, and filling up the van with gas when needed.

We Currently Need Volunteers: Mondays from 12:30-1:30, 4:30-5:30; Thursday Mornings, Saturday 10:00-12:00
