With 23% of Brooklynites living in poverty, Brooklyn Community Services (BCS) is calling on all New Yorkers to help us change the math by volunteering with BCS. By volunteering with BCS, you share our vision for ONE Brooklyn Community. If you are interested in volunteering or want to learn about our programs and ways you can get involved, please attend an upcoming ONE BK ACTION volunteer information session.

A ONE BK ACTION volunteer information session is scheduled on the second Wednesday of every month, from 5:30- 6:30 pm, at BCS headquarters, 285 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn. The program starts promptly at 5:30 pm and concludes at 6:30 pm.The program will introduce you to BCS's comprehensive range of services, volunteer needs, and upcoming events.

Participants will see in a very real way how BCS helps children and youth to reach their full potential, strengthens families, and fosters self-sufficiency for adults. Afterwards, our volunteer coordinators will help you find an opportunity to get involved that makes a real difference.
