Seeking Coaches for Goodwill Gladiators Basketball Team

Goodwill is seeking 3 to 4 additional basketball coaches for the 2017 Goodwill Gladiators teams.
The Special Olympics program at Goodwill Columbus provides adult participants with developmental disabilities and other barriers, year-round sports training and competition opportunities. Special Olympics contributes to the physical, social and psychological development of athletes. Through successful experiences in sports, they gain confidence and build a positive self-image. The Goodwill Columbus Gladiators compete in Special Olympic tournaments at the local, state, regional, national and international levels.
Here is what our schedule would look like:
Div. 5 Team: Would practice once a week on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at West Central School.
Div. 3 Team: Would practice twice a week on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at West Central School and on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon (beginning on 1/07/17) at Thompson Rec. Center

NOTE:
- We will be scheduling a minimum of six games throughout the season, on different days of the week and possibly on a weekend, with other teams across Ohio. Final schedule should be completed by mid-December 2016.
- Tournament Schedule may change if we have to travel to Cincinnati, OH to play in their section of the tournament.
- This is a very demanding schedule and will require a lot of your time.
- I am looking for four coaches for each team that way if a coach has to miss a game or practice the team will always be covered.
