Help in a Spanish GED class!
Do you want to help students preparing for the GED test? Sign up to volunteer with us! Must have proficiency in Spanish. Spanish High School Equivalency classes are taught in Spanish. The volunteer interested in this opportunity would help students learn Social Studies, Math, Science, etc in Spanish.
The class runs from late September to mid June. Volunteers must commit to 2-3 hours per week for the school year. We have openings in the evenings (5:30-8:30pm) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Our class is currently virtual and we need your help over zoom. We hope to be back in person before the end of the school year and then the opportunity could be in person or virtual.
Pathways is an adult learning center located in Lynn, MA.
Experienced, retired, or new educators, as well as people with no experience but a desire to help are all welcome. We provide 12+ hours of training and ongoing professional development.

Description
Pathways (formerly Operation Bootstrap) is an adult education center in Lynn, MA, serving adults in the Lynn area by providing classes in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), Adult Basic Education, GED/HiSET preparation, and US Citizenship. Started in 1976, Bootstrap has served over 15,000 students over the past 40 years. The current roster of 300 adult students comes from 32 different countries around the world.
