ORGANIZATION: Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center

Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center

Little Bit is seeking volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities! Our largest ongoing need for volunteers is in our Program. Volunteers assist riders and patients by grooming and tacking horses before class, supporting riders while in class, leading horses, and putting away horses after class. We encourage a weekly placement and ask for a commitment of at least six months.

We offer a variety of volunteer shift times between 8 am and 8 pm Monday-Friday, and 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays. Afternoon shifts are our greatest need. A typical volunteer shift is two hours long. You do not need to have experience with horses or people with disabilities, as we provide training!

Please visit www.littlebit.org/volunteer to view all available opportunities and complete an online application. For any questions, please email volunteers@littlebit.org or call (425) 882-1554.

We look forward to seeing you around the barn!
