Meet with and interview low to moderate income individuals and families to help prepare their federal and state tax returns. Must enjoy meeting a diverse mix of people, ability to communicate and respect privacy of taxpayers. You must have competent computer skills and if you have prepared your own taxes using a computer software program, that is helpful. Training materials and training will be provided. A test of tax law material is required to be taken and passed. Assistance with understanding the tax law and how to find the answers to taxpayers' question is available.
