Every year we put up eight Christmas trees for our nursing home residents, and we invite groups to adopt a tree and decorate it for our nursing home residents. This year we have four trees open, and we're asking groups to decorate with a PENGUIN theme.
All trees need to be decorated the week after Thanksgiving.
We provide the trees and lights, and you provide the decorations and the decorators!

Mission Statement
Greenewood Manor has a long history of providing excellent care to our residents, who currently range in age from 46-106. We provide skilled nursing care and rehab stays for residents with a wide variety of diagnosis and abilities.
Description
Greenewood Manor is a non-profit skilled nursing facility. We offer skilled and intermediate 24 hour nursing care, as well as supportive living and respite care options for individuals seeking assistance on either a short term or long term basis. Greenewood Manor is owned and operated by the Greene County Board of Commissioners.
All potential volunteers must submit a Volunteer Application, a signed waiver form, pass a background check, and complete a Volunteer Orientation Session/ Interview prior to working with our residents. Volunteers under the age of 18 will be required to present a certified copy of their birth certificate at the time of their interview. Groups coming in to provide one-time entertainment may have different requirements- contact Amy Shade for details.
