Strategic Planning coordinator
Role of Strategic Planning Coordinator (Volunteer Opportunity)
The role of Strategic Planning Coordinator is to planning and directing III’s strategic and long-range goals. Conducts organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate operational effectiveness. The SPC will support VP Governance and VP Operations with Strategic Action Plans Tracking.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities of this Hands -On Volunteer role includes:
- Formulates strategies or improvements to current board related documents
- Support solutions for strategic issues that impact the organization
- Create presentations, speeches and outlines for strategic efforts
- Performs market-analysis
- Monitors industry trends and non-profit news
- Provides support to identify strategic issues
- Facilitate strategic discussion
- Manage strategic initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills and Abilities Required:
- Strategic Planning - Ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow through with minimal direction.
- Organized - Time Management, Attention to detail, Project Management skills, and being highly organized a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of communication principles and practices.
- Motivated, Strong Initiative
- Ability to Work Independently
- Flexibility in varied job assignments.
- Willingness to pitch in when/where needed.
- Upbeat, positive attitude
- Work fluently with Microsoft Office, email, browsers, Windows operating systems, and PCs.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must provide two references
Volunteer Details
- Term: Long Term
- Time Commitment: Minimum of 10-20 virtual hours per month; which may include evenings.
- Candidates must be residing in the US
