ORGANIZATION: Seattle Public Schools Head Start

Head Start needs you! Do you have a passion working with children? Are you exceptionally interested in working with kids with differing abilities and needs? We need dedicated volunteers that can be a buddy to a child struggling with classroom routines and transitions. Head Start believes that all children deserve a chance to succeed in school, and work hard to support families through the special education referral process.

Some of our kids just need a little more attention that others to feel safe and secure. Won't you be that someone special for a child?

Head Start children are ages 3-5, and attend part-day classes in either a morning or afternoon session, Monday-Thursday.
