Volunteers are needed to lead fun, engaging activities for travelers both in the hostel and in the surrounding community. Examples include movie nights, game tournaments, walking tours, historic tours and so much more! Share your interests with people from around the world.

Hostelling International USA is proud to announce the opening of our newest hostel in the heart of Downtown Richmond, Virginia! HI Richmond joins the ranks of HI USA's highly rated urban hostels and is another great stop for travelers exploring the East Coast. The historic brick building has undergone a complete renovation and features all the latest amenities travelers require, like free Wi-Fi and breakfast, in a space that captures the spirit and essence of this vibrant Southern city.
In addition, at HI Richmond we offer our travelers several opportunities to come together for cultural exchange and connect with the local community. These opportunities include weekly community meals, movie nights and tours of local Richmond hotspots. HI Richmond is looking for great volunteers to assist with these great activities.
