Do you thrive in an environment with excited students who are hungry to learn more about their favorite STEM topics?
K-12 students can attend an after-school STEM club that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities, and we need volunteer support. Volunteers must be able to work in a high-volume environment and be able to explain/demonstrate simple activities and experiments provided by our staff.
Requirements & Commitment: Must be able to work Fridays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and be comfortable working with children.

Description
Open to All since 1873, Columbus Metropolitan Library is well known for its signature services and programs like School Help, Reading Buddies, Summer Reading Challenge and Ready for Kindergarten. With its Main Library and 22 branches, CML responds to areas of urgent community need: kids unprepared for kindergarten, third grade reading proficiency, high school graduation, college and career readiness and employment resources.
CML was named a 2011 National Medal Winner by the Institute for Museum and Library Services for work in community service, the highest honor for libraries and museums. CML was also named 2010 Library of the Year by Library Journal.
