Mission Statement

Project Mentor connects community members with Conroe ISD students to foster meaningful relationships that promote positive youth development so that students can successfully navigate school and life.

Description

Project Mentor is a school-based mentoring program that matches men and women in the community with youth in CISD schools. Once matched these mentors and students have lunch together for 30 minutes once a week. At it's most basic level, mentoring helps because it guarantees a young person that there is someone who cares about them and they are not alone in dealing with day to day challenges.
