We are looking for men and women with a passion to assist nonprofit organizations with talent development. We are specifically looking for trainers with over 15 years experience to guide nonprofits with good HR practices & policies. The Executive Service Corps is the volunteer arm of the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management at Robert Morris University. Our volunteers (50+) are highly skilled professionals or retired individuals who are vetted, trained and become a part of a team dedicated to improving our community. The Bayer Center provides over 100 trainings and professional development to over 1500 people annually.
Some trainings are virtual and others are in person--usually on site of the nonprofit. Expect to volunteer 2-20 hours a month, but this varies based on need and your schedule, & the location of the nonprofit.
You will be asked to fill out a survey of your skills, experience, and availability; and then attend an info session and orientation. We would like a two-year commitment. We provide training, access to our course catalog, and occasional volunteer events. (www.bcnm-rmu.org)
You will be proud to be a part of this elite corps dedicated to improving the whole region!
