Volunteers needed for a shared opportunity as a Group Coordinator for the Meals on Wheels route for Reston. The primary responsibilities for this shared volunteer position includes developing a monthly schedule of drivers for Meals on Wheels route(s) and training new drivers. This position requires a time commitment of 15 hours per month total between two volunteers, plus availability, when possible to arrange for substitute drivers or deliver meals on short notice.

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.
