Indiana Historical Society is celebrating Indiana's Bicentennial wtih musicals, cupcakes, crafts and more-but we need your help! Volunteers are needed to assist with visitor questions, kid friendly craft projects and ushering type responsibilities.
Volunteer shifts are:
Sunday, December 11, 11:30am-2:30pm: Statehood Day Program Assistant

Mission Statement
Since 1830, the Indiana Historical Society has been Indiana’s Storytellerâ„¢, connecting people to the past by collecting, preserving, interpreting and disseminating the state's history. A private, nonprofit membership organization, IHS maintains the nation's premier research library and archives on the history of Indiana and the Old Northwest. IHS also provides support and assistance to local museums and historical groups, publishes books and periodicals; sponsors teacher workshops; and provides youth, adult and family programming.

History should not be viewed-it should be experienced. You can help make a real connection with the past by volunteering at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center. From interacting with our guest to working with our historic collections, IHS has a great volunteer opportunity that is right for you.
