We are looking for volunteers for our annual prom dress giveaway called Glam and Swag: Prom Experience.
Dare to Empower created a program called Glam and Swag. Through this program we have outfitted over 100 girls for prom and other life events. We have saved families thousands of dollars and relieved the pressure from them when deciding which bills to pay in order to buy dresses.
We need volunteers for:
- Check-in
- Registration
- Host/Hostess
- Dressing Room Attendants
- Seamtress
- Personal Shoppers
- Set-up/Break-down
Must be able to attend an volunteer meeting in November.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK PRIOR. MUST ATTEND VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

Dare to Empower is a non-profit that was created for girls between the ages of 13-19. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, and empower teens to be the greatest version of themselves. We will sponsor various programs throughout the year, which aligns with our mission and goals. Our programs support the achievement of physical, mental, social, emotional, spiritual, and economic success
We are a non profit organization that works with socioeconomic challenged families in provide services that lessen their financial burden. We put on two annual events a back to school supply giveaway and free prom dress giveaway. In addition to our annual events, we partner with schools and other organization for various events like tutoring, social awareness and fitness activities.
