Our nonprofit, Veterans Forever Soldiers is recruiting a volunteer to help with the redesign/redevelopment of its website. Role requires technical expertise. Volunteer should have Wordpress experience and a passion for the ultimate cause - helping. Work includes a new design, content additions/deletions/changes, format changes/updates, creation of new pages, search engine optimization, etc.
Volunteer Web Master should:
- Be proficient in managing WordPress websites
- Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and dedication
- Help develop style guidelines for the website
- Recommend website improvements or updates
- Implement upgrades/updates timely
- Implement and advise on robust security measures
- Communicate promptly and professionally with VFS team
The Web Master will help us to make an impact in our community by bringing professional skills and expertise. Veterans Forever Soldiers is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit, and has been serving homeless and at risk veterans for over 12 years. Help us create a web presence that is both honoring and engaging.
